Why I Do This Work

I believe that people deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported, especially during the seasons of life when everything feels overwhelming.

Through my experiences working alongside youth, families, individuals experiencing domestic violence, and people navigating crisis, I've seen how deeply trauma and difficult life experiences can affect the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I've also learned how important it is to meet people where they are, without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that they have everything figured out.

I believe you are more than what has happened to you. Your trauma does not define you. Your hardest season does not define your future.

My hope is that counselling can be a safe place to land, a place where you can begin to understand yourself with more compassion, feel more grounded and empowered, and know that you don't have to carry everything alone.

You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to know exactly what you need. You can simply start where you are.

I'm here to walk alongside you.
